What is microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is a mild skin resurfacing treatment. It’s a deeply exfoliating procedure which rids the skin of dead skin cells, smoothes skin texture, and improves the appearance of scars, stretch marks, and pigmentation.

How Does Microdermabrasion Work?

Our microdermabrasion brand is Crystal Clear. They are the industry leaders of this treatment and have patented this particular method of Microderm. It works by soft powdered crystal minerals buffing this skin via a suction device. Our skin specialist will work methodically all over the face and neck, or stretch mark areas and analyse areas to concentrate on, such as scars, fine lines, wrinkles, and pigmentation.

How is the treatment performed?

A microdermabrasion facial starts with a thorough double cleanse and hot cloth. The microdermabrasion will then take around 10-15 minutes to be fully completed. After this a cooling hydrating mask is applied, this is followed by serums and moisturiser.

How do I know if Microdermabrasion is right for me?

Microdermabrasion is great for anybody with a dull or uneven skintone, scars, or hyper-pigmentation.

What is the down time?

There is no strict downtime, however skin sensitivity will be heightened and you will need to follow a simple skincare routine the week after.
